Slavish screen adaptation of Watchmen. Is good primarily because the source material is so brilliant. Ending makes much less sense than the graphic novel version but some nice moments here and there. Guy playing Rorschach is great, girl playing Silk Spectre II sucks, Doc Mac is alright, Ozzy is more creepy-hot than Steve Buscemi. Read the graphic novel then watch the movie. Or watch the movie then read the graphic novel. Given the dismal state of superhero writing nowadays, you can never have too much Watchmen.
